I’m Daniel, a serial founder currently leading three ventures -
Belief.Market,
MisoCare, and
ImTech.Dev.
— after years spent building AI- and blockchain-driven products and researching machine learning.
I began my academic journey at the University of Toronto, completing a Computer Science specialist
in AI alongside a Mathematics specialist in 2012.
A master’s in Engineering at the University of Guelph followed, supervised by
Graham W. Taylor,
where I dove into deep-learning research.
I then joined MILA machine learning institute
at the University of Montreal under Yoshua Bengio and Roland Memisevic,
and later became a research scientist in Kristin Branson Lab
at Janelia Research Campus.
From 2020 to 2024, I pursued a Ph.D. at NYU under the supervision of
Kyunghyun Cho, focusing on causal inference,
and pausing my studies to focus full-time on startups.
Professionally, I have led AI-centric companies as CEO of AIFounded Inc. and CTO of Coinscious Inc. Today, my work blends entrepreneurship and research, with interests in deep learning, causal inference, and probabilistic views of dynamical systems.
